Sweet

Happy Monday!!
 I can't believe it is the last day of September and it is less than 3 months away  from Christmas.
We also found out the other day that my daughter (who is 16) wants to graduate a year early.  YIKES!!  She is so far ahead on her requirements that all she needs is her English 12 class to graduate.  So next semester she plans to take English 101 at the community college and that will fulfill that English 12 requirement.
We originally talked to her a few times about this and told her we don't feel she is being challenged enough and that she should take advantage of being able to graduate early and she originally didn't want to because of her friends.  After she talked to her friends she decided she would, apparently her friends thought she was crazy not to.  LOL!!
Now that she has decided, I am not sure I am ready.

I feel life is bitter sweet right now.  For sanity sake I couldn't imagine having another baby (not that I could have one even if I wanted to) but to think my first born will graduate this year and my youngest will be entering kindergarten next Fall, makes me a bit sad.

The last month or two has really put my life in perspective.  As of the beginning of this school year, I started school myself, I am on the PTO at my kids school and shortly after changed my work schedule.  With all that I have going on I don't have time for my family or myself.
I have decided I will not continue school next semester.  I am making way more money at my job doing something I really enjoy.  I can see working for my employer for a long time.

I need to embrace this time and spend it with my kids.  They are growing far too fast.

My kids are all on the mend.  My two lil ones came down with the flu yesterday.  Oh what a week it's been.  I just want to start over, let this week end so I can start a new week and hope it is a whole lot better than this week.  UGH!!

Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday!!
So yesterday I spent the day in the ER with my youngest son.
Yesterday morning when he was putting on his shirt, he started screaming.
He said a spider bit him. I didn't think much of it only because the marks on him looked like a mosquito bite AND my son likes to cry wolf a lot.
So we went on with our morning, took our kids to school and then my son starts moaning. 
After about another 30 minutes he started drooling, and his eyes started fluttering back and forth. 

After further observance of my son, it wasn't a spider bite, it was a SCORPION sting.  He was stung 6 times.   So we called 911 and rode in an ambulance to the closest hospital, 35 min away.
By this time he was having a hard time talking and he was drooling more and he was really lethargic.  He was shaking and couldn't stand.
So they pumped him with Morphine and a drug like valium. It knocked my boy out for about 6 hours.
We left the hospital around 7.
He is doing much better but it sure was a scary day!!

It's Dapper Man

Happy Monday! 
Well I have a sick lil man at home today. He was throwing up yesterday. 
He really didn't show any indication he wasn't feeling well until after he ate lunch.  Then he complained his belly hurt.  A couple hours later he was getting sick.  I kept him home today because all we need is circulating illness at school.  I think that is what happened in the beginning of the year, kids were constantly sick in my son's class.  Maybe his belly was upset from what he ate at lunch or maybe he has the flu, better be safe then sorry. 
Plus I need a relaxing morning.  LOL!!  I just came off a two day weekend but I did rest.  I had homework and chores and grocery shopping etc.  I did take a nap yesterday because I think I am getting sick with the cold bug or something, I felt like I was run over by a truck and dragged for 3 miles.  Every inch of my body was sore. 
So I am hanging out with my lil man today, kids are at school, Max is at daycare and Tony went to school too.  I will head to work a bit late once Tony gets home from school so he can take care of lil Tony.

I Love Your Smile

It's rainy and gloomy and it made it really tough to get out of bed today.
I love it though.  In the desert it doesn't rain very often to I try to enjoy it when it does happen.  LOL!!

You Are So Amazing

TGIF!!
WOW, what a week.
I started my new job and it is taking time for me to get used to my schedule.  I used to work days and now I work nights, I get off at midnight.
I am not used to staying up so late.
I can't wait for the day to be over because I have off this weekend and I will be catching up on sleep.
