Well half of the store is painting supplies but the other half was all stamps and inks and paper crafting accessories. I was so totally excited because I have had a real hard time finding local gals to craft with and at this store they have craft get-togethers. I did find another place online that does as well but it is about an hour or so drive and I am not sure I want to do that.
So anywho, I bought some Prisma pencils and went to work on my new stamp from Stampin' UP!. It will be available May 1. The stamp set is called A little bit of Magic. Oh it is so cute and I had a ton of fun making this card and coloring in the fairy stamp.
All of the products are Stampin' UP! I used Whisper White cardstock for the base. That will probably be a pretty rare thing for me, see me and white don't mix well. Something always happens to my white card base so I don't like to use it much. I used coordinating cardstock to go with the DSP and I CANNOT for the life of me remember the name. . I am not sure the proper name for the grey but I used grey and Cameo Coral cardstock. I used some silver brads from my Hodgepodge Hardware kit, also from Stampin' UP!. My Cricut made life easy by cutting two ovals, one slightly bigger for some layering.
The ribbon was from the dollar bin at Michaels, it has wire in it which made it very pleasant to tie in a knot. I am still not very good at making bows and knots. Put a little wire in the ribbon and I am in heaven. LOL!
The button are also from Stampin' UP!
BTW, I broke the camera I had found and had the pleasure of using for about a week. So now I am back to my iPhone for a bit. Sorry if the picture sucks, LOL!
Hope you enjoy this card and it was super fun participating in my very first challenge.
