Winner and a Giveaway

My internet was down from yesterday about 6pm until this morning until 9am, so I am a little late getting this posted.

We have a winner of November's sketch challenge. First I would like to thank my DT for getting the word out about the challenge. I had several extra entries this month and they were ALL FABULOUS. I am so thankful I use random.org to pick the winner otherwise everyone would be getting the monthly kit. LOL!

Everyone that entered created fabulous cards and LO's. But random.org has chosen the winner and that is:

Isn't that LO fabulous! Thank you to everyone that entered. I will have the new sketch posted on December 1 and I hope everyone plays along again!

Other news if I have some giveaways. That's right I said SOME. I am not sure how many yet but basically it is a combo between a de-stash my stash and just a bunch of stuff I have. I have a stack of stuff to giveaway, lots of pattern paper, some stamps and just a bunch of stuff. The winners will just receive a box filled with goodies. I may take a pic of just the large stack of stuff and post it but that won't totally be accurate because it will be divided up between a couple winners.

With that said, leave a comment to enter the giveaway. Just for fun in the comment, let me know some traditions you do during the holiday seasons. It's not required but if you would like to, please become a follower and/or spread the word on your blog. That's it! This giveaway will end on Dec 17th at midnight EST.

Don't forget to check out the 40% off sale at Artfuldelight!

Happy Crafting!!

We do have several traditions for Christmas and one of them is that we always go look at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve and then somehow Santa magically brings our gifts when we are gone. 8-)

  6. Congrats Isay! Love the details in your layout!
One Christmas tradition we have in my family is the annual get together to make rolled sugar cookies. My mom found the recipe in a magazine back in the 50's and she started making them when we were little. To this day we still get together to make sugar cookies!

  7. Congrats Isay....your project was beautiful!!! Christmas traditions.....each year rather than do a "traditional" dinner we pick a theme and run with it...we have done everything from tailgating food to chinese and yeah...even the ham or turkey a couple of times....lol. This year we are focusing on italian food....so I am making a couple of our favorite italian dishes and we are going to look up some italian holiday traditions and try to incorporate them into the festivities this year. The kids LOVE this and they always learn something without even trying...always a bonus!!!

One of our Christmas traditions is making a special cookie called Vanille Kipfel from an old family recipe. We only make them at Christmas and family and friends expect to receive them! I am a follower of course and will spread the word to my scrappy friends.

  12. We like to be the first in the neighborhood to put up our Christmas lights. This year it was the weekend of 11/13-14. One of our traditions is to have Low Country Boil with lobster for Christmas Eve dinner and to open one gift on Christmas Eve. Thanks for the chance to win!

  13. I wish we would be first to put up our lights... I am lucky if my husband does them before Xmas. We open one present Xmas eve to celebrate Xmas eve the Norwegian way and then have Christmas morning the American way with tons of presents.

  15. Congrats to the winner. Great layout.

Our traditions are always growing and changing. But one thing that has remained the same is the windchime decoration. My daughter spotted it in a 1984 layout and again in one from 2009. So it's the first thing I hung up this year.

Thanks for the chance to win.

  16. Wonderful LO! Love it.

We have a special tradition. When we leave church on Christmas eve, we light a candle for each family member who passed away. Unfortunately, we will have to add one candle for Asintua, our angel baby. This way they still celebrate Christmas with us.
    Big hugs

  18. Like many people we have lots of traditions during the holidays. We do an advent calendar every year, we make a paper chain counting the days until Christmas, make ornaments, decorate the tree with Christmas music on in the background, and visit my mom on Christmas Eve. Love this time of year! Thanks for always having such wonderful giveways, Leeanne.

  19. Gorgeous LO...congrats Isay! We have LOTS of traditions (kinda drives my husband nuts). Every year we make Finnish Pulla bread during the holiday season - my grandma was Finnish and taught me how to make this many Christmas' ago. We then eat that on Christmas morning while opening gifts.

  20. Congratulations Isay! So this is a bit silly, but one of my most favorite traditions is to set up the nativity with my two boys and tell "the story". They ask so many thoughtful questions these past few years, I know I must treasure it now before they won't even want to help....

  23. A very cute, colorful layout. Decorating is my biggest holiday tradition. Garlands, tree, pretty glass ornaments. I love Christmas ornaments and am making myself stay far away from my favorite Christmas shop since I absolutely, positively do not need any more stuff on my tree!
    Thanks for the chance.

  24. Gorgeous layout! Our holiday traditions revolve around decorations and food! We bake breads, muffins, cookies and make lots of different candies to hand out to our neighbors and friends..and even now that the kids are in college they still make the gingerbread houses when they get home! And then we decorate the entire house...with small trees in their bedrooms! Love spending this time with my family! Thanks so much for the opportunity!
    Hugs,
    Joni
