More fun cards using May kit

Good Morning! I LOVE holidays and having that extra day off in the week from school or work or whatever but then it completely throws the rest of the week off. Today feels like Monday and I am sure the rest of the week will feel one day earlier than it really is.

Yesterday we had a fabulous day, Tony and I started our day doing a little homework then in the early afternoon we headed outside with the kids. We have a small slip and slide that we set up for the kids. Nicki would slide down on her knees and the lil ones didn't really understand what to do but they would run down the slide. It was great fun, HOT, but great fun!!!

We had an early dinner and put the kids to bed. Ended our day with homework. :-)

Today I have FOUR cards to share with you that Abby created using the May kit. I am pretty sure she was using some left over paper and scraps to make these cards. Abby has rocked this kit (well all my DT did) she made several LO's and at least 7 cards. LOVE it!!! Check out Abby's blog for details about these cards and more inspiration!

Be sure to stop by in the morning because I will have fabulous projects to share with you that my DT created using the June kit and June's sketch; ASC9.

Have a fabulous day!!

Happy Memorial Day and a bright colorful LO!

Good Morning and Happy Memorial Day to my friends that celebrate this holiday! Today I am excited to not have school and Tony has off. We will get to spend the day together, doing homework some of the day but hopefully will either get outside to play with the kids or get over to the park. :-)

I have a fabulous LO to share with you that DT member Abby created using May kit. Unfortunately May kit is sold out but hopefully you can still get some inspiration. June kit is available for sale and will ship starting June 1, check it out HERE!

This LO is super cute, great photos!! Be sure to check out Abby's blog for more information about this LO! :-)

Well I am off to do a little homework so I can try and spend the afternoon with the kids.

Capture the moments

Good Morning! Happy Saturday! Today I have a fabulous mini album to share with you that April created!

I need to start making some mini albums as well as 12x12 album covers so I can safely display all my LO's. I really like the paper April used for this mini. Other than all the Echo Park papers included in May's kit, this is probably my other favorite paper. For more details about this mini album, please visit April's blog.

I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend. I will be doing homework since Tony has to work. Well he won't be working on Monday so hopefully we will get to go play outside with the kids and maybe BBQ. :-)

LOVE

Good morning! Boy oh boy yesterday was a little hectic. I was at school most of the morning. Then I ran to Wal-Mart to pick up some oil and such so Tony could do an oil change on my truck. Once we got outside to do that the kids were playing and hanging out. Then it was time to make dinner and after that, several hours of homework and planning my week (with homework). I did manage to post Artful Delight's June monthly kit reveal a little late last night so if you haven't seen it be sure to scroll down or click here.

Ok I would just like to say that I think my DT is AMAZING!!! I feel EXTREMELY fortunate to have all 4 ladies on my team. They all create the most wonderful projects for me every month. With that said today's card from Courtney is definitely no exception. This card has me speechless. It is SUPER DUPER cute!!!!!

I really wish I had some May kits left because this card just sells it. I love the detail in this card, I LOVE all Courtney's cards! LOL!!

So unfortunately May kit is sold out but I certainly hope you can still get some inspiration and for more inspiration and details about this card please visit Courtney's blog.

Seek sweetness in everyday life

Good Morning! First thing I will be sharing with you today is a fabulous card that Courtney created using May's monthly kit. This kit is sold out but hopefully we can still provide some inspiration.

Later (when I get back from school) I will post Artful Delight's June monthly kit reveal. WAHOO!!

Ok so this card is YUMMY!!! I LOVE watermelon. I think on one or two occasions (maybe more, but I will never really admit to it) I have been able to eat a whole watermelon, not in one sitting but in one day. Snacked on it throughout the day. LOL! Let's just say I was peeing all day!!!

I really do love Courtney's shaped cards, so creative. For full details about the card please visit Courtney's blog. :-)

I will be back in a couple hours (well later this afternoon) for the June kit reveal.

Monthly photos with my kids and an update

Hello my friends! I first wanted to give an update, Artful Delight's May monthly kit is now SOLD OUT!! I sure hope everyone that wanted it was able to get their hands on one.

Next I have some photos to share. I want to take these monthly but sometimes I forget so it might have been longer than a month since the last time I posted. If you are not sure what I am talking about please check out Julie's blog for more info. Her monthly posts are what inspired me.

My oldest, Nicki, was at school so we don't have any of here and I yet. I will try and take some when she gets home.

Lil Tony had ants in his pants or something because he just wouldn't sit still while taking the photos. After like 5 tries she says, "I'm done now".

Winner! Winner! Winner!

Ok so now it's time to announce some winners. I will have 3 winners, 1 for the giveaway, 1 for the 14 Days of Sketches, and 1 for ASC #8. So let's get to it.

The WINNER of the giveaway is #14 SANDI

Sandi said...

I am a follower for awhile now on your blog and a brand new follower on Facebook. I never knew you were on FB. Love your kits....would be awesome to win one.

The winner of the ASC #8 is VICKI WILSON
(Vicki won Artful Delight's June monthly kit)

Ok, so did ya'll have fun with the 14 Days of Sketches? I did, I know I didn't finish and I will try to get through them. I will keep that tab there with the sketches in case anyone needs any inspiration. If you ever use a sketch or one of Artful Delight's monthly kits, please share them with us on our Facebook page.

We had 85 projects uploaded for the 14 Days of Sketches. To chose the winner for this challenge I wrote all 85 names on little pieces of paper and spread the little papers on my table. My sweet Isabel chose one of the papers. She kept saying cheese and waving the piece of paper around. I had to snap a quick "action" shot. LOL!!

The winner of the 14 Days of Sketches and Artfuldelight's May monthly kit is:

Congratulations EMILY C

Alright ladies if you could please email me your mailing information I can get your prizes in the mail.

Moments to remember

Good Morning my friends! So it's back to school tomorrow. I am nervous yet excited. I am nervous because it is only 10 weeks long and that means 16 weeks condensed to 10 weeks. I am also nervous because I have to take Microeconomics. Last semester I took Macroeconomics and although I got an A, I just worry I won't do as well. Plus I am taking an English class, I HATE English. I HATE writing papers. BUT I am excited to be that much closer to getting my degree and being able to get a job that will pay decent. I am also excited that my semester is only 10 weeks, get through it that much faster. LOL!!

Anywho, today I have some mini albums to share that DT April created. She used May's monthly kit.

So CUTE!!!! There is ONE monthly kit left, so if you were thinking of getting the kit head over and grab it before it's gone. :-) For details about these mini albums, be sure to stop by April's blog.

I am hoping to craft today. I haven't been able to all week. I also have all the products for June's monthly kit and I may do the reveal a little early this month. If I can get a good picture I may do it later today, otherwise maybe tomorrow. :-)

Be sure to get your projects uploaded by noon (EST) tomorrow.

3 fabulous cards

Good Morning and happy Saturday! Last night was our Friday night homemade pizza and movie. Well the kids had been kinda bad during the day so we were planning on watching a long movie so Tony found Pink Panther. We don't have cable, we watch all of our stuff through Netflix on the Wii. I totally forgot how funny Pink Panther cartoons really were. Lil Tony and Isabel were laughing hysterically the whole time. Each show is only 6 min long and we watched about an hour or Pink Panther, it was great. Super fun family time. Then since Tony and I were just exhausted, at 7:30pm after putting the kids to bed we headed to bed ourselves. We watched Little Fockers and some X-Files (old episodes on Netflix, we are trying to make our way through the series). It was a great night.

Today I have some fabulous cards to share with you that Abby created using May's monthly kit.

Such bright happy cards, should put a smile on anyone's face. For more details about this card please visit Abby's blog. She had trouble with Blogger yesterday so she didn't get to post her LO (the one I posted yesterday) until today as well. Be sure to check it out. :-)

You only have 2 more days to get all your projects uploaded for the ASC8 and the 14 Days of Sketches. I will draw the winners when I get home from school on Monday.

Beach Babe

Good Morning my friends! Boy oh boy these weeks are just flying by. I officially start summer semester on Monday, I say officially because my English Professor already posted some homework. I am eager to get this semester over, since it is short (10 weeks instead of the regular 16 weeks) it is going to be packed with work.

The weather has been absolutely horrible around these parts, rainy, wet, gloomy, wet, and very unpredictable. One minute it's pouring, dark clouds and just a nasty thunderstorm and the next the sun is shining. Off in the near distance you can see the dark clouds slowly rolling through, preparing for another storm. It's been crazy.

Now on to the fun stuff. I have a LO to share with you that Debbie created using May's monthly kit.

I really love the bright colors in this month's kit. So Summery!! Debbie's LO is fabulous, all the detail with the embellishments. There are still a few kits left, click here for more details. Please visit Debbie's blog for more details about this LO!!

You only have a few more days left to upload your projects for your chance to win May's and/or June's monthly kit. Click the tab above: "14 Days of Sketches May 1-14" for more details.

I have a little giveaway to offer so stop by later, I want to take pictures of the goodies so I need to wait until it gets a bit brighter out.

You make my world

Good Morning my friends! Super duper quick post today, I am headed out in a few minutes and will be gone most of the morning.

I have a card to share with you that April created using May's monthly kit. This card is so bright and colorful.

Heck, I don't think you could create anything with this month's kit that isn't bright and colorful. LOL! For more details about this post please head over to April's blog.

It has still been wet and gloomy and I haven't been able to craft, I NEED to though so I can get caught up on my LO's.

Picture of Christmas past

Good morning and Happy Monday!! I only have one more week off until Summer semester of school starts. My English Professor is actually planning on posting the first 2 weeks of homework sometime this week so we can get started early. I will take her up on that because this Summer semester is going to FLY by.

Today I have a LO to share with you that I created using Sketch #8. You can probably see in the picture how my papers have been curling up from the moisture in the air. It has been super gloomy and rainy the past week or so. When I took out my papers from the packaging they started to curl. I couldn't understand why but I quickly realized it was the moisture in the air.

Anywho, I used Echo Park's Everybody Loves Christmas collection. I am not sure if you can see on the Santa embellishment but I used some liquid applique on his coat and hat to give it a bit of dimension. You probably can't see this but on the left I wrote the year that this picture was taken, it says 1999......that's right I have photos from 1999 to scrap. This is a photo of my and my oldest daughter when she was 2.

Anywho, be sure to click the tab above to see all the sketches from my 14 Days of Sketches. You have until May 23rd at noon EST to submit your projects. You have a couple options to submit your project, you can email me the links, leave the link in a comment, or try the linky tool. The linky tool is a bit moody so sometimes you can upload a project and sometimes you can't.

There are a couple more May kits available, click here for more info.

Problems with linky tool

Hello my friends. It has been brought to my attention several times over the past 2 weeks that some of you are having problems loading your projects. I am not sure what the problem is, I am going to email the linky tool owner and see what he suggests.

In the meantime please just put your link in the comments of the sketch # it goes with. I really appreciate it and I will try to figure out the problem.

You can also email me your links too if you have done a couple LO's and want to submit all at once.

leeanne@artfuldelight.com

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend! It has been really gloomy muggy and rainy and I have been having trouble crafting.

I was crafting last night and there was so much moisture in the air that my papers and embellishments were curling up, it was getting bothersome. So I finished the LO I was working on but now I am a bit hesitant to craft anymore right now. There is still a lot of moisture in the air.

I do have a LO photographed and I just need to upload it and crop it and post it. Maybe I will do that later tonight.

Sketch #14

Oh how sad, this is our final sketch for Artful Delight's 14 Days of Sketches. I think I will have to do this again though because I still have a ton of photos to scrap. Note to self, DON'T CLEAN SCRAP TABLE!!! LOL, in doing so I found a TON more pictures to scrap. Like probably a stack of pictures the size of the stack I started off with 2 weeks ago. And I barely touched that stack over the last 2 weeks. I may never get caught up. I'll be done scrapping my kids just in time to scrap my grandkids. LOL!

Anywho, here is Sketch #14

Happy Crafting!!

School time

Good Morning!! It is rainy and gloomy here in Virginia and according to weather.com it will be that way for the next week. My plants will be happy. :-)

Today I have a LO to share with you that I created using Sketch #10. I will hopefully be catching up today or at least this weekend with all my sketches. Have you been able to play along? Click the tab above "14 Days of Sketches May 1-14" to see how you can play.

These pictures are of Tony at a Science Symposium at school. I used Crate Papers School Spirit collection for this LO. The background paper is from Basic Grey's Basics collection. All of what you see in this LO is in Artful Delight's September Monthly kit, there is still one available and is selling for $23.50 plus shipping. There are also a few April kits left too which also sell for $23.50 plus shipping. AND there are still a few May kits available, click here for more details.

I will be back later for our last sketch of our 14 Days of Sketches.

Happy Friday the 13th. :-) Phew, Blogger is back up and running. Today I have some absolutely fabulous projects to share. I have a mini album that April created and and absolutely fabulous card that Courtney created, both using May's monthly kit. We only have 2 kits left. :-)

First up is the mini album from April.
This album just puts a smile on my face, so bright and cheerful and I LOVE the sentiment.

Next I have a FANTABULOUS card that Courtney created.

Since Blogger was down the last 24 hours or so I will be back later with Sketch #12 & 13. I will also try and take a picture of the LO's I have done. It is a bit gloomy and rainy so I am not sure I will get good pictures. I might wait until tomorrow or Sunday and just share all the rest of my LO's with you.

My LO using Sketch #9

Hello my friends. Today I have a LO to share with you that I created using Sketch #9. It seems I have fallen behind but I will catch up. LOL!

I used the Brook collection from Crate Paper, I LOVE this collection. The colors are beautiful!!

I had altered the picture of my daughter in the program called Lo-Fi that Julie from Life with the Tucker and Wolek clan had introduced me to. I wanted to create a LO and use bright and colorful papers but it just didn't look right. So I decided that the Brook collection would be perfect.

The title "Chell-Bell" is another nick-name we have for her. A while back my sweet ISABEL, told everyone to call her "Chelli" because we would call her Isabeli-chelli. It was so cute, I called her pumpkin and she said "No ma, Chelli". So now her name is Chell-Bell. LOL!! Anywho that is where that came from.

I will be back later with Sketch #12. I have had a blast with the 14 Days of Sketches. I have gotten a lot of pages created but unfortunately I still have a ton of pictures still to scrap. I am so happy at the amount of entries I have had. I LOVE it!!

I still have a couple of May kits left, if you would like to purchase one or sign up for a subscription please click here.

Sketch #11

Good evening my friends. Today was a very productive day. Tony and I made 4 loaves of bread and 7 pans of food, plus we went outside and played with the kids. AND we made a delicious easy crock pot dinner. It is a warm breezy evening and now we are hanging out at the kitchen table, playing on our computers, crafting, and blogging. :-) Good times!!

I am back with Sketch #11. If you didn't see my earlier post be sure to scroll down. :-) I shared a fabulous LO that Debbie created.

Here is sketch #11

Apparently some of you guys have been having trouble with the linky tool and I am not sure what the problem is. I am going to email the site owner and see if there is anything he can do for me.

Life is a beautiful ride

Happy Wednesday. Tony has the day off today so we are doing some cooking and hanging out. We have made 7 pans of food. 4 pans of spaghetti and 3 pans of a breakfast skillet. We will freeze them and pull them out on days we have school or just don't feel like cooking. Here is a picture of what we have been doing. Frying potatoes, cooking up sausage, pasta and homemade spaghetti sauce. These pans are not totally finished yet, only the one in the back (upper right of the picture) with the aluminum on it. We also are in the works of making 2 loaves of bread and dinner for tonight. All the while playing with my new toy I got for school, a Tablet PC. YAY me!!

I was tired of forgetting my notebooks at home and having a new notebook for each class, each semester. What a waste. Plus my regular laptop is ginormous, 17" screen and it makes me nervous to take that to school. I am worried I will break it. So this Tablet is small and easy to take to school. Speaking of school I totally rocked this last semester, I got all A's. I am totally excited. Now for the fun crafty stuff!! :-)

Today I have a LO to share with you that DT member Debbie created using May's monthly kit.
I sure do love this collection by Echo Park. This LO is super cute, for more details about this LO please visit Debbie's blog.

I will be back later with Sketch #11! If you want to purchase May's monthly kit there are still a few left, click here.

Sketch #10 and my LO for Sketch #8

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is doing well. Today I have Sketch #10 and my LO for Sketch #8.

First I have my LO using Sketch #8. I used Basic Grey's Oliver collection. Pretty simple, basic LO. It has Lil Tony and his Dad and I didn't really have any boy themed embellishments so I had to stick with what I had from the BG collection pack.

Next I have Sketch #10.

I am off to lay down, I woke up with the WORST headache!!! I need it to go away so I can craft tonight and get all caught up on my sketches. I have Sketch 9, 10, and 11 (tomorrow's sketch).

Happy Crafting!!

Sketch #9

Hey, I'm back!! :-) I have Sketch #9 to share with you!! Be sure to scroll down to see my earlier post!! :-)
I made a bunch of these sketches in one day and I think by sketch #9 I had lost my sketch LO mojo. LOL! I will be making more sketches tonight (well hopefully, I still need to catch up on LO's for Sketch #8 & 9)

I am off to eat dinner with my family. It has truly been a great day. I forgot how much fun it was to just have a day without homework or school. I will cherish each of these days because in less than 2 weeks it's back to the grind.

Happy Crafting!!

Look momma!

Happy Monday! Quick post, I want to share with you a LO that I created using Sketch #6. I will be back later with Sketch #9.
I used papers from April's monthly kit. The flower at the bottom I made with the ribbon that came in that kit and a Gluber from Cosmo Cricket. My sweet Isabel wanted to dress herself and her clothes are on backwards and the pants aren't even hers, lol!!

I am off to the park with Tony and the kids. :-)

Happy Sunday evening!! I have sketch #8 to share with you. I cannot believe it has already been 8 days. I also just realized I forgot to finish all my sketches. LOL!

So here I leave you with Sketch #8

Happy Crafting!!

My LO using Sketch #7

This is my 2nd post for today so be sure to scroll down. In the earlier post I announced the winner of my recent giveaway of the EC Studio Shape tool and bubble caps.

Here is my LO I created using Sketch #7, I will also be able to use it for one of the challenges over at My Pink Stamper for NSD. It was challenge #10 of 12 challenges and it was to incorporate a pet or animal in your project. I made this LO last night but didn't get to take a picture until today. :-)
I had been begging my boyfriend to let me have a cat for 5 years. See when we first met I could easily have been called the crazy cat lady. LOL! Well I had 3 cats that were indoor/outdoor cats, kinda strays that I had taken in. I never was able to get them fixed for 2 reasons 1) they seemed to like the outdoors a ton and 2) I was a single mom and just couldn't afford it. So I was afraid to spend the money and have them 'stray' away again. So anywho, both the female cats got pregnant at the same time and so at one point I think I had like 8 cats (mostly kittens). I was able to give away all of them. So after that period of time, Tony, told me I could never have a cat again. I love my pup, Abby, but I am a cat person. I begged and begged and for Christmas this last year he let me go to the shelter and adopt a cat. He totally thought I would come home with a kitten but Chuck was an 'older' (3 year old) cat and had been at the shelter for over 3 months. It was time for him to get out of the shelter. He was already neutered so I thought he would be perfect.

It has taken Chuck 6 months to finally feel completely comfortable but he snuggles with my pup, puts up with the kids, and snuggles with me at night.....he is truly the best Christmas present ever!!! :-)

So anywho I used Basic Grey's Max and Whiskers collection for the LO. 3 of the pictures on the LO is the day Chuck came home, Abby and Chuck had to take some time to get used to each other. LOL! My kids all wanted to welcome Chuck by feeding him some treats. :-)

Alright well that's it for now, I will be back later with Sketch #8.

Happy Crafting!!

Happy Mother's Day, a winner and a fabulous card!!!

Good Morning my friends!!!! Happy Mother's Day!!! I hope everyone is going to have a super special day, crafting and/or spending time with family. My oldest daughter woke up at 5:30am to make me some cookies frosted with chocolate frosting that she made from scratch. We had some chocolate chip cookie dough in the fridge I made the other night so she used that and made some frosting. She said she got up that early because usually I am up at 6:30am and she wanted to make sure she was done in time.....fortunately for me I got to sleep until 8am. :-)

Then Tony woke up shortly after me and came down and made a skillet breakfast. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, green peppers, and topped with cheddar cheese. It was delicious. Unfortunately he has to work the night shift tonight so he won't be home, but I will spend the rest of the day hanging out with my kids.

So I have the winner of my latest giveaway to announce and will share with you a card that DT member Courtney created using May's monthly kit. I will be back later with a LO (I have to photograph it), Sketch #8 and hopefully more LO's (I still have to make them).

So first I will share with you the card Courtney made. Super cute!!!
I love the bling and the detail with the ribbon, super cute. :-)

Next I have the winner of my recent giveaway to announce and the winner is.....

Sketch #7

Holy moley where did the day go. Well I was working on my kitchen table, cooked a really tasty dinner and did some other random chores and before I knew it, it is 8:30pm. So sorry I didn't upload Sketch #7 yet but here it is for you now. I have a lot of catching up to do. LOL! Not only will I leave you with the sketch but I also finished the other LO I made to go with Sketch #5. Then tomorrow, fingers crossed that I can craft tonight, I will have some more LO's to share.

Ohh I will have a project to share with you that DT member Courtney created. :-) Ok, so here is Sketch #7.

And here is my LO using Sketch #5.

Again I used products from May's monthly kit, everything except for the large alphas. Those alphas are from last month's kit and I sponged some Worn Lipstick distress ink on them.

I hope everyone had a wonderful NSD and were able to get some crafting in. My giveaway ends in a few hours so if you haven't entered please do so now. :-) Also check out the tab above labeled "14 Days of Sketches may 1-14" and it will bring you to all the sketches so far.

Happy Crafting!!

Happy National Scrapbook Day!!

I just wanted to let everyone know who may want to play along with my 14 days of sketches challenge, I have added a tab above that will link you to all the sketches. Each day I will add the new sketch, click on the sketch title and that will bring you to each post where you can upload your project.

Unfortunately with everything going on with school and the 14 days of sketches I planned I didn't get to do anything for NSD, but I hope everyone has a fabulous day. I hope y'all can get a bit crafty and enter some of sketch challenges.

I will be back later with sketch #7 and a LO.

Happy Crafting!!

Sketch #6

I had a really rough night sleep last night and have pretty much been relaxing on the couch so I have not crafted yet today. I am not sure if I need new pillows or what but I woke at 3am with a HORRIBLE headache. Then all day today my neck and head has been sore. Anywho, I wanted to leave you with Sketch #6.

The weekend is coming and maybe you will have time to craft. I will also have Sketch #6&7 to give you over the weekend.

Hopefully I will be back tomorrow with my LO's using today and tomorrow's sketch. :-)
Happy Crafting!!

A Birthday Soiree

Ok, this is my 3rd post for today. Man I have been a crafting maniac. LOL! I am taking advantage of this time off because I know I won't have much time when I go back to school. I have a FULL load of classes.

I had 2 LO's planned and gathered for Sketch #5 but I was only able to finish one. This LO does not use the May monthly kit well I did use some paper flowers that are included in the kit.

I want to also point out that my LO/sketch was inspired by a LO that DT member Abby created a little while ago, I thought it was GREAT!!! Here is the link to her post.

So here is Sketch #5

Happy Crafting!!
