Ok, now for the new sketch challenge, ASC #10; play along this month for your chance to win August monthly kit. With CHA-S going on this month I am (fingers crossed) hoping to have a new(er) line in August.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch using the July monthly kit.

There is only a few things on the LO that aren't in the kit and that would be the alphas I used for "squinting", those were in May's kit, they are part of the Echo Park collection pack. The bling that I used on the butterflies are just from my stash and finally I used some white thread for stitching. Other than that, everything is in the kit.

This month's kit will include Maya Mist, which I used for the background.

Here is this month's kit and a list of its contents.
this kit will include:

Now if you made it this far you are in for a real treat!! Artful Delight is having a DESIGN TEAM call. :-) Wahooo!!!! The term won't start until November 1, with school this will give a big window of time to submit your projects and a decent amount of time for me to go through the submissions and make a decision.
DESIGN TEAM INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • I am looking for 2-3 designers; I would like for you to enjoy making both cards and scrapbook LO's but it isn't necessarily required (won't be a deal breaker if you only do one or the other, please still apply)
  • design team members must have a blog and will be asked to post their projects there
  • you will be responsible for creating a minimum of 4 projects a month; the 1st project will be using the monthly sketch and ultimately I would like to be able to post it the 1st week of the month; the other projects have no deadlines, just submit when you have something complete and then we agree on a time to post
  • the term will be 6 months starting November 1 and ending April 30
  • the design team member will be sent an Artful Delight monthly kit to work with and the projects created each month should be at least 75% from the kit; other products can be used but please primarily use the kit
  • design team members will be asked to visit the blogs of those who enter the monthly sketch challenge and leave a comment
  • design team members are asked to post about the new kit and the contents on their blog on the 25th of each month and have a logo in the sidebar linking to the Artful Delight store
Other than that I don't think there is a whole lot that will be required. Ask my current design team, Artful Delight's DT is pretty laid back. Even though I have some requests or requirements they are certainly not set in stone. Life happens and sometimes crafting has to take a back burner and I TOTALLY understand.

So the DT call will run from July 1 until August 23. I know summer time is a busy time for most so that is why you have almost 2 months to submit your projects. Then the Fall semester starts for me at the end of August so I am giving myself a couple weeks to make a decision. Again the term will start November 1 but I will be in contact with the those that were chosen long before then.

IMPORTANT - International entries are encouraged but if you are chosen I would ask that you are responsible for the shipping every month. I will provide the kit for free but I would set up through Paypal to have the shipping charges billed/paid every month - This would probably run about $19-25.

Please submit 3 of your favorite projects(they can be something you have already created but please only submit more recent projects; within the last month or two) either cards, LO's, altered projects or any combination to leeanne@artfuldelight.com. In your email please include your blog address and your preference in crafting, whether you prefer card making or scrapbooking. Prior DT experience is not necessary.

Ok well that's it. You have until July 23rd to enter ASC #10 for your chance to win August's monthly kit. :-)

Happy Crafting!!
