Happy Thanksgiving my friends!!
I don't have a project to share with you today but I did want to say Happy Thanksgiving to all my bloggy friends that celebrate this holiday.
Today I am thankful for my family. Tony and I have been together almost 7 years (anniversary is Dec 17) and together we created 3 beautiful, loving, wonderful children. I am thankful that he has accepted and loved my daughter like his own and has been an amazing role model for her.
I am also thankful that he is an AMAZING cook and he will be making me my family the most juicy and delicious turkey. Oh yum!!!
I am also thankful that he is supportive of me and my obsession with crafting and Artful Delight. He truly is a wonderful man and I couldn't imagine life without him.
My kids are my everything. They warm my heart every minute of every day. They brighten my day when I am tired and upset from work. They give me kisses, love and hugs when I most need it.
I am thankful we were able to make our move to Arizona. I have met some wonderful people here. Reunited with a friend from high school (who was kind enough to make sure we had something to do for our turkey day) , our wonderful community of people, great people that I work with and the handful of customers that I truly enjoy chatting with everyday. I got to meet a bunch of amazing crafty people that I feel extremely honored to now call my friend (and I will see you ladies on Saturday) :-)
We have an amazing place to live and couldn't ask for better weather (that's right it will be 81 degrees today)
I just feel so lucky right now. I may not have all the money I would like but I have the love and support from everyone around me.
Phew, that was a lot to be thankful for!!!
What are you thankful for?

This sounds odd, but I am thankful that no one ate any of the traditional turkey, stuffing, etc at the buffet we went to on Thanksgiving day. This means I am forever absolved from having to make a traditional Thanksgiving menu again! As you can probably tell, I'm not a turkey and dressing kind of girl.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! I was so thankful for the yummy meal we shared with my large family!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for the inspiration I get from great blogs like this & the friends I've made through this hobby!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for the friends that we have. At this difficult time, they really stepped up and helped us out. We had an amazing dinner, and some quality time with family thanks to them. They truly are the best friends and neighbors I could ever ask for.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a delicious Turkey! I'm a little late to the party but on Thanksgiving I was thankful to be celebrating at my future SIL's parent's house! That could have been a disaster but to my delight they were "normal"!! It was a great day, so relaxing. No fighting. Full tummies. Just pure family time :)
