Rosettes and Siblings

Oh happy day! My lil man is doing well, doesn't seem to be in pain or discomfort. Plus he hasn't touched his stitches. He will get them removed next Thursday and I am so excited. Tony thinks there are at least 5 stitches in there, maybe more. He also thinks that the way the doc stitched it up that there will be little scar marks. LOL, too funny because the doc was very proud of her ability to stitch a wound, she made a point to tell me she made her own clothes and that she cross stitches. LOL!

Well I am so excited to be able to share some more projects with you that I created. The other day I was feeling the need to make some rosettes. Thanks to the ever so helpful Youtube, one short hour later some rosettes were born. LOL! With those rosettes I made a very simple card.I cut out a top note shape with my Cricut, inked the edges with some Broken China Distress Ink and adhered it to my favorite color card base - Kraft. :-) I then adhered the rosettes and stamped a sentiment from Artfuldelight's Sunny Days stamp set. I may actually send this to my swap buddy, with the mini album I showed the other day.

Up next I made a LO using Sketchy Thursdays sketch. I also got to use some papers and embellishments from the Twig collection from Little Yellow Bicycle. This is a little sneak peak to what's to come in March's monthly kit.

The background paper and scallop paper are both from the Twig collection as well as the butterfly and there is a self adhesive canvas border in there too. I used the wood border flourish (LOVE it) from February's kit there are still 2 kits left and I used some ribbon from November's kit which is unfortunately sold out. The Thickers are a little hard to see in the picture but I can assure you they look good in person, lol. Those are Bones Thickers in Leaf and a few of you might win them in the giveaway I am having. The words at the bottom are from Colorbok. I signed up for something a while back and they sent me a free 12x12 paper pad. It is all beautiful papers in neutral colors and I just love it.

Ok so it's the weekend, hopefully everyone has a little free time to get in their craft room and create something for February's sketch, you have just under 2 weeks to get your entry in. You will have a chance to win March's kit AND a Guest Design spot. Wahhoooo!!

Happy Crafting!!

  8. Your layout is really nice: cutie kids. I know how hard it is to photograph our layouts so things look as they do in real life.
