Twisted Cards #006

Pretty simple card today. This week's twist at Twisted Sketches is "Word" any way, any how. I decided to use my glitter chipboard Thickers from American Crafts. I am not a HUGE fan of using chipboard for my sentiment but when you see the sketch you will see why I decided that it was best.

Here is the sketch:

And here is my card:

I used a Kraft card base. I used Versamark and my For the Love of Dots stamp set from Practicing Creativity Designs. If you can see it behind the PP it is 2 seperate stamps. The large dots and small dots. I just love how you can combine the different stamps in that set to create an awesome background. So then I used Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry collection PP for the rest of the card. Since I don't have a square punch I used my Cricut to cut two 2.5x2.5 inch squares. The sentiment "congrats" was put together with glitter chipboard Thickers - Bliss from American Crafts. I was originally going to make the card completely coordinate and use Nook and Pantry chip stickers but I quickly realized the word "congrats" would have been way huge with those. I finished that card with 4 small buttons also from the Nook and Pantry collection.

Supplies:

Stamp: For the Love of Dots (Practicing Creativity Designs)

Ink: Versamark

Paper: Kraft cardstock (SU) and Nook and Pantry collection (Basic Grey)

Misc: Glitter Letter Thickers (American Crafts), Nook and Pantry collection buttons (Basic Grey)

Happy Crafting!!

The big, bold, thicker letters look great. I'm dying for some thickers - I don't have any and I don't know how I've survived so long without them!
