Movie Night

  Hello!  This is June with a little card inspiration.  The January card kit from Artful Delight is packed with fun!  Included in the kit:  the fun KaiserCraft "Tiny Dot" background stamp, Fancy Pants die cuts (tickets), KaiserCraft Sparklets (glittery heart gems), and Paper Smooches "We Totally Click" stamp set (director board/popcorn image and the "movie night" sentiment.)  The filmstrip tape is from the August 2013 card kit (sold out), and the twine and glossy accents are from a 2011 Artful Delight card kits.

Hello My Name Is Sass

Hi everyone! Suzanne here sharing my layout inspired from Debbie's sketch and using the January Scrapbook Kit.   I flipped flopped the photo placement since my baby girl was leaning to the left. At just 3 weeks old she already had a lot of sass ;) I love that "Hello My Name Is" diecut included in the Fancy Pants Be Loved Ephemera Pack.  I hope you enjoy all the girly, pink goodness in this month's kit as much as I do!

Happy Valentine's Day Card

  This is June Houck and I am delighted with the January kit at Artful Delight.  Each kit is always fun and packed with so many goodies, and I promise that this particular kit is even yummier in real life.  The three patterned papers and the sentiment die cut are all Fancy Pants "Be Loved" and all are included in the January 2014 card kit.  My baker's twine is from a 2012 Artful Delight kit and the button was in my stash.

To and From

Happy last day of 2013!
I  don't make New Year's resolutions because I never keep them.
 But with the holidays over and  me realizing what is important to me and my family ( meaning I took a step back from a few things that were a bit time consuming) I  have high hopes of being more active online,  getting my craft room organized and usable,  and craft a little.
 My kids need me more and I  need to make sure I make time for myself. I  have all these amazing craft products piled in my room that I have yet to use. :-)

I  want to take a moment to thank those that have helped keep Artful Delight around for the last( almost) 4 years.  Can you believe AD  has been around for that long?
I  always have an amazing group of ladies that I get to work with 6 months at a time and of course Debbie who I couldn't do this without.  Not just currently but in the past and in the future, Artful Delight's  design team is always an  amazing group of ladies with a variety of talent.

 So thank you to everyone that has shown an interest in being a part of our team.  And thank you to all of you that stop by my blog to be inspired and support us.  Thank you to those that play along with our challenges month after month.  And thank you to our customers/ subscribers  whether you sign up just one term or come back again and again.

 All of this is why AD has been around  for almost 4 years.

Happy Christmas Eve!
 This is the first year I feel  completely unprepared.
I  was doing some last min shopping last night, I  haven't wrapped a thing,  Tony hasn't put together any of the 3 bikes and I  can't do anything during the day because Tony and I started a project in the backyard yesterday and we have to finish today.  Then tonight I  work until midnight.  Guess I  will be wrapping gifts all night.  Ugh!

Wish Big

Phew where did the month go.  Seriously!  December 22!
Time is flying by and I wish it would slow down just enough for me to catch up.
I have had little to no time to post any extra everyday but tonight I thought I would take a moment and try to fill ya in a little.
Nothing out of the norm going on here.  Still helping at the school, been trying to help more in the classrooms.  Tony has even started to help, he has been volunteering in the high school match classrooms, tutoring.  He loves it and from what I hear they think he is awesome.
This past Friday we had the Christmas parties.  I didn't get to go to my sons class because I was helping in my daughters class but my understanding is they just watched the Grinch.
My daughters class, wow!!  What a day.  I stopped in the class at like 9am just to drop something off and both the teacher and her aid said "are you here for the day."  I was like uh uh uh...........
So I helped out in the class all day and then worked til midnight, needless to say I was exhausted.  Like really really exhausted.  LOL!!
 So really not anything different going on, just the same ol same.  Busy busy.  My kids are all on break for the next 2 weeks and I couldn't be more excited.  Although I work still, it will feel like I am on vacay.  LOL!  I won't have to get up crazy early and be on the go ALLLL day.  I can sleep in and hang with my kids and then head to work. 

Ahhh, so how have all of you been.  If you celebrate Christmas, are you all ready?  Gifts wrapped?

Appreciate Everything

Oh wow, what a week!!
My weekend is flying by, I haven't had enough time to recover.  LOL!!
I was on the go for five days, 19 hours each day.  I was only getting around 4-5 hours of sleep, then on the go the rest of the time.  I had a blast though, a lot of that time was spent at my kids school.  I loved it!! :-)  I have been doing nothing but recovering this weekend. 
Next week will be a little more low key but still a bit crazy.  We have The Holiday Shop at school this week.  Remember when you were a kid and you could bring a couple dollars to school and shop for your family, coffee mugs, little trinkets, etc.  Well we are doing that at our school.  After this week my kids will be on break for the holiday and I cannot wait.  Although I will still have work it will be like a vacay compared to the last couple months.  :-)
