Our New Design Team

Happy Saturday!  It is a bitter sweet time on the year here at Artful Delight, we have to say goodbye to our current team and say hello to our new team.  We still have two more weeks left in October to there are plenty more projects to share but starting November 1st, the following ladies will begin sharing their creativity.  

We are excited to announce our new design team for the November 2012 to April 2013 term.  This term we have three designers on each team and can't wait to share with you their projects!

Rose Miller from My Happy Place

Hi, my name is Rose and I am married to a wonderful man that not only supports my crafty obsession hobby but encourages it. We are empty nester's with just our two spoiled fur babies Precious and Q left at home.

I am thrilled that Leeanne has asked me to join her DT on Artful Delight. I am so excited to be showcasing her awesome card kits for the next six months.

Sherry Eckblad from Button Junkie

Hi my name is Sherry and I live in Minneapolis with my husband Joe, our son Justin and a mean Conure Parrot named Birdie. I have been creating stuff since I can remember and fell in love with card making and scrapbooking about 15 years ago and have been doing it ever since. I am excited to be here and can't wait to meet you.

Ashley Horton from Ashley Horton Designs

  Hi!  My name is Ashley Horton and I am a wife and stay at home mom, to our three children.  I also home school, so I guess I am a Teacher, also!  I began Scrapbooking over 6 years ago and have been going strong ever since.  I've enjoyed everything about the hobby of Scrapbooking, from learning new techniques, finding out what Manufacturers and styles I like working with, and especially the friendships I have made with other Scrapbookers around the world.  I have been very blessed, in reaching my Scrapbook goals and have the opportunity to design for Love My Tapes, Creative Scrappers, Get It Scrapped!, Frosted Designs, and ScrapFIT, and now I am excited and looking forward to designing for Artful Delight!  I have also been published in Creating Keepsakes magazine, ScrapStreet magazine, and Scrapbook News & Review.  In my (rare) spare time, I also enjoy spending tme with family, reading, and cooking.

Kate Vickers from Scrapsation

I am a wife and mother of 3 small children, ages 8, 4 and 2. I live in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. I have scrapbooked seriously for about 6 years now, but I have been interested in arts and crafts since I was old enough to hold a crayon.

My scrapbooking style is eclectic. I like to use a lot of 3D elements, machine stitching, stamps and multi-media.  I love using my Silhouette Cameo and incorporating my graphic design skills whenever I can with hybrid elements and original cutting files.

My other passion is horseback riding. I have been riding for over 25 years and owned two of my own horses. I competed in Eventing, Dressage and Hunter/Jumper. My oldest daughter has started riding and loves it as much as I do.

My real job is part-time freelance Web Project Manager, Designer and Developer. I have my own small business – Vickers Media. I have also been lucky to be able to do freelance work for some other major Canadian marketing firms. My specialty is open source content management systems like Joomla and WordPress. What I love most about my job is that I make my own hours and I still have a lot of free time to do the things that I love, like spending time with my family and scrapbooking!

Lisa Wilkinson from Where Chaos meets Creativity

My name is Lisa Wilkinson. I am a mommy to 6. A wife to the love of my life. A home schooler, a creative girl who finds joy in creating something everyday, whether it be a craft or activity for my children, something to add a little spice to our home or a cherished layout for our scrapbooks that will be meaningful and lasting. I am always creating something and that brings me such joy! I have been scrapbooking for over a dozen years and my style has slowly evolved into what it is now... layered, lumpy, bumpy, misty, sewed on, with a lot of white space. It is "organized-messy".   I feel so blessed to be on the Artful Delight Design Team!
