Movie Night

  Hello!  This is June with a little card inspiration.  The January card kit from Artful Delight is packed with fun!  Included in the kit:  the fun KaiserCraft "Tiny Dot" background stamp, Fancy Pants die cuts (tickets), KaiserCraft Sparklets (glittery heart gems), and Paper Smooches "We Totally Click" stamp set (director board/popcorn image and the "movie night" sentiment.)  The filmstrip tape is from the August 2013 card kit (sold out), and the twine and glossy accents are from a 2011 Artful Delight card kits.

Happy Valentine's Day Card

  This is June Houck and I am delighted with the January kit at Artful Delight.  Each kit is always fun and packed with so many goodies, and I promise that this particular kit is even yummier in real life.  The three patterned papers and the sentiment die cut are all Fancy Pants "Be Loved" and all are included in the January 2014 card kit.  My baker's twine is from a 2012 Artful Delight kit and the button was in my stash.

Wish Big

Phew where did the month go.  Seriously!  December 22!
Time is flying by and I wish it would slow down just enough for me to catch up.
I have had little to no time to post any extra everyday but tonight I thought I would take a moment and try to fill ya in a little.
Nothing out of the norm going on here.  Still helping at the school, been trying to help more in the classrooms.  Tony has even started to help, he has been volunteering in the high school match classrooms, tutoring.  He loves it and from what I hear they think he is awesome.
This past Friday we had the Christmas parties.  I didn't get to go to my sons class because I was helping in my daughters class but my understanding is they just watched the Grinch.
My daughters class, wow!!  What a day.  I stopped in the class at like 9am just to drop something off and both the teacher and her aid said "are you here for the day."  I was like uh uh uh...........
So I helped out in the class all day and then worked til midnight, needless to say I was exhausted.  Like really really exhausted.  LOL!!
 So really not anything different going on, just the same ol same.  Busy busy.  My kids are all on break for the next 2 weeks and I couldn't be more excited.  Although I work still, it will feel like I am on vacay.  LOL!  I won't have to get up crazy early and be on the go ALLLL day.  I can sleep in and hang with my kids and then head to work. 

Ahhh, so how have all of you been.  If you celebrate Christmas, are you all ready?  Gifts wrapped?

Appreciate Everything

Oh wow, what a week!!
My weekend is flying by, I haven't had enough time to recover.  LOL!!
I was on the go for five days, 19 hours each day.  I was only getting around 4-5 hours of sleep, then on the go the rest of the time.  I had a blast though, a lot of that time was spent at my kids school.  I loved it!! :-)  I have been doing nothing but recovering this weekend. 
Next week will be a little more low key but still a bit crazy.  We have The Holiday Shop at school this week.  Remember when you were a kid and you could bring a couple dollars to school and shop for your family, coffee mugs, little trinkets, etc.  Well we are doing that at our school.  After this week my kids will be on break for the holiday and I cannot wait.  Although I will still have work it will be like a vacay compared to the last couple months.  :-)

Some weekends just fly by others are just perfect.  This weekend unfortunately went by really fast.  I know I have a whole other day to enjoy but yesterday flew by.  Friday night when I got off work I did my grocery shopping, 1am shopping at Walmart = successful and stress free.  So I got home close to 2 am, unloaded and put away the groceries.  But I still couldn't fall asleep until about 4am.  Then I had to be at the kids school at 8am to help set up for our book fair we are having next week.  Got home in time to take about an hour nap then go to dinner for my lil man Max's birthday.  He turned 4 yesterday.  Came home opened gifts and had had cake.  Ended the evening watching some Christmas movies.  Ahhh, great day!!

"100% December's kit.....even used the dimensional foam.  Used the pennant pieces as Christmas trees, the twine for garland on one of the trees, the clear twinkle gemstones as tree topping stars and the red ones as ornaments on one of the tree.  I tried to think outside the box while not straying far from Suzanne's awesome sketch.  I LOVE that rustic wood patterned paper."
