Farewell to another amazing team.....

**update, this was supposed to post yesterday but I didn't realize I never scheduled it**

UPDATE- our November kit reveal will happen a little later today, sorry for the delay but be sure to stop back by!!!

It's been a crazy month, heck it's been a crazy year.

Twice a year we say farewell to an amazing team.  Each design team call we get more and more talented ladies throwing their hat in ring to be a part of our team.

Artful Delight has been around for 3 1/2 years and that is a lot of DT members to be a part of this awesome adventure.

Debbie who has been with me since the beginning, builds awesome kits every month, keeps everything  in order and really has made this whole journey smooth sailing.   Without Debbie I would be lost.  :-)

We have had very talented ladies be a part of our team and our current team is no exception.  Miriam, Kerys, Leah, Karen, Flowerdisco, you have all been a pleasure to work with and it was an honor to have you on my team.  I hope you ladies with stick around and play a long with our challenges and all of you, as well as old DT members reapply at upcoming DT calls.

We have a new team starting today and I must say we have another great group of ladies.  Another six months of amazing inspiration using our card and scrapbook kits.

Join us later today as we reveal our November Scrapbook and Card kits and share our November sketch challenge.

Our DT will hopefully be sharing with us starting next week.

And if you haven't or don't already follow our current team, please stop by their blogs and do so, so they can continue to inspire you.  :-)

I'm back!! Little Miss Trouble!

IF YOU ARE HERE FOR THE FROSTED DESIGNS BLOG HOP, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

Good Morning and Happy Saturday!!
I am so happy to be home!!
First I would like to wish my little man Tony a very Happy 6th Birthday.  Boy oh Boy where does the time go.
I don't have any good pictures with him because he is always making faces or looking away but you can see him a bit in the pictures below.

Be sure to scroll down because I also have a project for you that our Delightful Designer, Kerys created using our July scrapbook kit.

Just a heads up, this may be a long post.  I have a bunch of pictures to share.

So we headed out last Saturday around 1pm.
Everyone was super excited to "go somewhere fun" as my kids would say.
We made it to Vegas in no time at all.
Before getting to the hotel we made a stop at the Hoover Dam.
Pretty cool!!

After we left there we went straight to the hotel.
We stayed at the Circus Circus.  It wasn't that bad.  The section we stayed in was newly remodeled so the rooms were really nice.
It was convenient to be able to go play.
Sunday we pretty much just hung out, got our marriage license and oh, yeah we went to Jump N Jungle.
I took lots of pictures every where we went but I had to narrow it down.
So I am just highlighting the things we did.

On Monday we took the kids to Adventure Dome.  We didn't have much to do and the passes were good all day.

Isabel and Nicki rode the rides and the boys played games.
I didn't take pictures of the boys playing games.
The first picture of the kids at the Adventure Dome says it all, Isabel's face!  Boy she loved those rides!!!
Then of course we got married.  LOL!!
 Can't forget about that.
We didn't do anything special with that, just wore nice clothes.
Of course we had to have a picture in front of the Elvis car.
So wonderful that she could come, THANK YOU JULIE!!!
We also walked the strip a bit and went to the M&M store and to downtown Vegas.  No pictures there just a picture of my kids posing with Mario and Luigi.

Next up will be a ton of picture from CHA.
There are a lot but not nearly as many as I took.  At the end I will also link you to Julie's blog where she has some photos posted too.

Beautiful creations in the Graphic 45 booth. :-)

Studio Calico

Lots of awesome wood veneer pieces coming out with many manufacturers this summer.  :-)
Elle's Studio

An a craft event isn't complete without the uber talented, Tim Holtz.

I wanted to take a picture with him but he was always doing demos and surrounded by people.

I will also link you to Julie's CHA posts to see more pictures.

Julie took a lot of photos.

So we had planned to come home on Thursday but my oldest dog, Abby, was having some serious anxiety about us being gone.  She would not stop pooping in the house.  I had a house/dog sitter (one of my friends) but she was still pretty freaked out.  Haven't had an accident in the house since we got home.
Also my kids were getting a little antsy.
So we left Vegas on Wednesday afternoon.

I had a wonderful time and so happy that Julie joined me.  We are trying to plan to go to the Winter CHA.  This time I will just make a trip out of it for me, not as a family.
And Tony and I plan to take a trip just the two of us some time very soon.

Alright well that's it.  I came home to boxes of goodies filled with August kit stuff.  So I will be busy all weekend getting those together.  I will be working some OT next week so I won't have much free time and then my kids go back to school next Monday.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you enjoyed the inspiration we had for you all week.  And a special Thank you to Debbie for keeping things going all week while I was away.

Now here is some inspiration that was created by our Delightful Designer Kerys, using our July scrapbook kit.

See you tomorrow for some more inspiration!!!

Sketch winner

Good Morning my friends!
I had the day off yesterday so Tony and I did some home improvement projects.
Check these out and then I will share the sketch challenge winner.

This is the headboard I created.
We cut 12x12 squares out of wood and then I covered them with batting and fabric.
To attach it to the wall we bought a super thin piece of wood, adhered that to the wall and then glued all the squares on that wood piece.
This next picture is the opposite wall from the headboard wall.
All of the white is wood.  Tony cut and assembled all those rectangles.
We were able to snake the cable wire behind the wall and so it comes out right behind the TV and the electrical cord is hidden behind the wood and plugs in the outlet on the right.  If you look close you can see it.
I am almost done with my bedroom.  I want to get a vinyl wall decor phrase to put over my headboard.  We also need to paint our bathroom and decorate it to match.
Home improvements are so fun!!  LOL!!

Now for the winner of our sketch challenge.

Congrats Sherry!!
Please send me an email! :-)

Alright, that's it for today.
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by! :-)

Sharing pics of my home

Good Morning my friends.
I don't have any projects to share today but I realized I haven't shared my new home on here yet. :-)

I have been enjoying my week off with my family but each day I realize it is just vacation and in a short few days I will be back to reality, which is work.  :-(
That actually might be a good thing though as it seems Tony and I spend a lot of money together when I am home.  Mostly on stuff for household projects.  LOL!!  For example today we will be heading out to buy a pressure washer.  Fun stuff.  :-)

I LOVE our new home.
I LOVE the possibilities.
I LOVE all the space we have.
I am super happy and excited!!

So here are some pics.

Even though it looks like a two car garage, it is actually three.  It is called a tandem garage.  I never heard of it before but two of the spaces are front to back.  So looking at the house, the space on the left has two spots.  One car would drive in and towards the back of the house and the other car would park in front of it.  For us that is perfect because that extra space towards the back of the house is actually Tony's work space.  All his tools and such.  I just realized I have a picture of the garage....LOL!

This is the view from the front door and this will be our future game room.  It is a pretty wide room but it doesn't totally look like that in the photo.  I see maybe a pool table, definitely an old school arcade game (we have a friend whose husband refurbishes them and sells them) and we will have a TV with video games as well as a computer in this room.

Kitchen and living room.

More views of the kitchen and dining room.
Then if you go up those stairs it leads you to a huge loft which has our couches that used to be in our living room.  So basically we moved our living room in our loft.  The room downstairs with the fireplace with hold a couch that is like movie theater style, they recline and have cup holders and that will be where Tony and I watch TV.  Family time will now be in the loft.

Then the upstairs has 4 bedrooms.  The 5 bedroom is downstairs as well as our 3rd full bathroom.  The 5th bedroom is my craft space.

And here is the princess picture my friend painted on my daughter's wall.
We were going to go all out and do different colors but we decided to just use one color and do it monochromatic.
I chose pink because that is Isabel's favorite color.
So now Tony will build Isabel a nice wooden bed frame so we can get her mattress off the floor.

Also our laundry room is upstairs which I LOVE!!!

I would share our back yard but we have started to rip it all up so we can redo it so it looks pretty crappy.
We did build a dog run in the back yard so we can keep the dog poop in one area.  My dogs have gotten far too used to pooping wherever they wanted and it made it hard for my kids to play in the back yard.  No more.  LOL!!

Alright, well that's it.
Be back tomorrow with some inspiration!!
Have a wonderful day!!
