A little note

TGIF my friends!!! I wanted to say a quick thank you to Debbie for keeping up with the blog while I was in route to my new home. It was a big weight lifted off my shoulders not having to worry each morning whether I got my post uploaded. I sure did miss my blog though and I am super happy to be back.

 I got a new desk yesterday for my craft room and I am super excited about it. Tony also has a job interview today and that is awesome.

 Today I two AWESOME cards to share with you that our Delightful Designer, Karen, created using our August card kit. Today she is featuring the stamp set and wooden buttons that are included in the kit.

Cherish The Moments

Good morning my friends!!!  It feels like forever since I last typed a post.  Ahhhh, it feels so great to have internet.  Still don't have our furniture but we did get a bed for my daughter last night and she was nice enough to let us use it.  I think she felt bad for me since I sprained my ankle the other night and sleeping on the floor getting up from the floor with a sprained ankle is really painful.  LOL!!

So much to talk about, so little time.  In a nut shell it was a long week of driving.  We had to stop for rest breaks so many times it didn't leave us much time once arriving at the next hotel to do anything but check in and go to dinner.

My son started kindergarten on Monday and it has really been a rough week for him.  He is not happy to go at all.  Thankfully I didn't get to take him to school this morning (strict orders from my boyfriend, Dr. Tony, to stay off my foot, lol) because he was a wreck going to school.  Tony said he almost saw him cry when he had to walk in with his class.  He didn't even want to play on the playground before school.  He has serious meltdowns when he gets home from school; crying about EVERYTHING!!!  I hope it gets better soon because it breaks my heart to send him to school.

I have a few pictures to share from the week, not much though since all we did was drive but I will share them in another post.  I am just so happy to be in our house and as of Sunday we will be settled in.  OOOhh, oh AND I get to meet Julie from Life with the Tucker-Wolek clan on Saturday.

I love this collection!! I am actually going to (hopefully) craft with it this weekend. I had to put my craft stuff on the truck against what I had originally hoped but it just wouldn't fit in the truck with us. So I have an August scrapbook kit and an Echo Park Eclectic collection pack to play with. I am a little rusty on crafting so not sure how much I will accomplish but I do have my mini (Smash book) to finish.

Alight well off to take my son to school and have to pick up a desk for my NEW craft room.  I will post pictures when I have it all set.  My take a bit because I got rid of all my stuff, have to buy all new storage, furniture, etc.

Good morning!  Sorry for the delay in posting.  My internet went down last night and didn't come back up until this morning.  I have an update on Leeanne.  They arrived safely and are awaiting the arrival of their furniture, which unfortunately won't arrive until Sunday.  Yikes, no beds, only what they had in their car.  Talk about roughing it.  Good luck Leeanne!

Let Them Eat Cake and Sushi

Debbie here again for Leeanne.  Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend and was able to get some crafting done!  As of Friday Leeanne and her family made it to El Paso, TX after a long 12 hour drive.  Saturday was to be their last day on the road  arriving in Maricopa, AZ their new home Saturday evening.   I've got to give a lot of credit to Leeanne and Tony.  Traveling over 2200 miles in a 5 day period with a car packed with 4 kids and two dogs.  Can't wait for Leeanne to share with us all about their journey.  Hope she was able to use her new Fujifilm Instax Mini  camera and take lots of great pictures to document their travels.

Happy August 1st!

Happy August 1st everyone!  It's Debbie here today and I've got lots to share with you today.  Leeanne and her family have begun their trek to their new home in Arizona and I will be posting for her until she arrives and gets settled in.   I was thinking about her this morning wondering how their first day on the road went yesterday.  Trying to imagine a car loaded with four kids and two dogs and 8 to 9 hours on the road.  I heard from Leeanne and they are  in Knoxville right now and day 1 on the road was a long one with one very unhappy 2 year old.  Let's hope that day two will be smooth sailing.
