Sketch #4

Alright folks I wasn't able to get my LO done, today was Tony's day off so we just kinda hung out together and we are also re-finishing our kitchen table. We made it last year and tiled the top of it. We did a mosaic pattern in some of it and we didn't get all the tile to lay flat so it made it a bear to wipe down the table. We pulled up the mosaic design and we are replacing the just regular tile. I am super excited to get it all fixed up, we put A LOT of work in to this table. I think I posted pics when we finished it last year but I will post them up again when we finish. :-)

Since I didn't finish my LO I still wanted to post the sketch. :-) Tomorrow I will have Sketch #5, another project from the DT and probably my TWO LO's. So lots of craftiness tomorrow. :-)

Don't forget to enter my giveaway.

Here is the sketch

Sketch #3 and a giveaway

Good Afternoon my crafty friends! A little late getting this posted but I was waiting to be able to take a photo of my LO! I am so happy I have been able to craft the last couple nights. Tomorrow's post may be a little late too, since I don't craft until the evening I usually wait until the morning to take a picture.

Ok so here is the sketch
And here is my LO

So do you see those little "buttons" that make up the circle? Those are pretty cool. I got this new tool the other day from Epiphany Crafts called EC Shape Studio. Have you seen this tool? It's pretty cool. To create the lil buttons I actually used the cover sheet from the Echo Park collection pack again and cut the circles. I didn't want to waste the full sheets of pattern paper and it worked out perfectly.

So other than those plastic buttons everything is from May's monthly kit. :-)

Now for the FUN stuff, the GIVEAWAY!!!! Would you like to win an EC Shape Studio in the Round 25 and a package of Bubble Caps??? Well I have one of each of those to give away today.

So just leave a comment on this post and you will be entered to win. The giveaway will end on Saturday May 7th. National Scrapbook Day!!! :-)

Also play along with today's sketch or any of the 2 I have already posted for your chance to win May's monthly kit. :-)

Sketch #2

Hello again! Are we ready for sketch #2??? So I kept the sketches pretty simple that way you can still add your own creative touch. :-)

I made my LO last night and it didn't take me long. I kept it kind of simple and again the only thing not from this month's kit is the white alphas which are from last month's kit. Let's start with the sketch.

And here is my LO......
These are pictures of my son, Tony, and his cousin Hudsyn. These were taken when we visited IL last summer. Ok so I titled my LO "are we having fun yet?" because Hudsyn just does not look like she is having fun. I looked back at all the pictures from that day and she just looked miserable in every one. I made the flower with a Gluber from Cosmo Cricket and some gingham ribbon from the kit. Then I adhered one of the American Crafts paper flowers to the top.

Mini card set

Happy Monday!!! Today I take my last final and I am done for about 2 weeks. On May 23rd I start my Summer semester. After that I only have 2 packed full semesters and then I have my Associates in Accounting!! Yippee!!

This morning I have a super cute card set that April created using May's monthly kit. This kit is packed with paper, so if you love paper, this is the kit for you!!

I am going to guess these are 3x3 mini cards. There are 2 12x12 sheets of white Bazzill cardstock included in the kit. I sure do love those butterflies that April uses on her projects. I will have to get a butterfly punch one of these days really soon. :-)

For more details about these cards please visit April's blog. If you would like to purchase May's monthly kit, click HERE!

If you are looking for today's sketch, check back at noon EST, I will have the sketch and my LO!! Click HERE is you would like to see sketch #1. :-)

Now here is a random card I made the other day, I used a Hero Arts note card from the Blush pack.I heat embossed the stamp with white embossing powder, the stamp is from Inkadinkadoo. Then I sponged 2 different colors of distress ink on the card. When I stamped the image, it wasn't centered on the card front so I had to cut the card base and just had the panel with the stamped image. I adhered it to another color card base from the Hero Arts Blush note card pack.

Alright well that's all I have for you right now. Stop by later for today's sketch. :-)

May sketch challenge - ASC8

Happy Sunday evening!! I wanted to get this posted earlier today but I didn't have my LO finished. I wanted a LO to share with you with the sketch challenge.

be sure to read all the way down, lots of good stuff....chances to win this month's kit and next month's kit as well as another random giveaway.

I also have another challenge going on this month. It started as a challenge to myself to try and get rid of my stacks and stacks of pictures that need to be scrapped but then I decided to make it a challenge for everyone.

So first let's start with the sketch, here is this month's sketch.

Another fabulous sketch by DT member Debbie. Next is the LO I created using this sketch and Artful Delight's May monthly kit.

The only thing on this LO that I used that isn't in THIS month's kit is the white alphas, those were from April's monthly kit which we still have a few of and they are selling for $23.50 plus shipping. So if you haven't purchased April kit, now is definitely the time.

So upload your project using today's sketch for your chance to win June's monthly kit, this challenge (to win June's monthly kit) will end May 23rd.

Now for the other challenge and this is for your chance to win May's monthly kit. If you participate and are either a monthly subscriber, DT or have already purchased (a single purchase) this month's kit and you WIN, then you will win a prize pack equal to the value of the kit. :-) So this kit is open to EVERYONE, DT members, subscribers, customers and all my readers. :-)

OK so here was the challenge, (originally a challenge to myself) since I have off for the next couple weeks....until May 23rd actually, I am going to have daily sketches challenges. I will have 14 sketches, so I will (try) do a LO everyday using the sketch. Now the challenge to all of you is to participate in as many sketches as you can, the more sketches you can play along with the more chances you will have to win. :-) Each time you enter a sketch challenge your name will go in the hat. I will draw from a hat this time, not through random.org. So of the 14 sketches, if you play along with 4 then you have 4 chances to win May's monthly kit.

Starting today, with today's sketch, I will have a new sketch for the next 14 days. May 14th will be the last sketch and then you have until May 23rd (at noon), when I go back to school to have all entries in. Now as we all know, life can get in the way and I may fall behind but hopefully with in a day or so of each sketch I will have something to share, either way a new sketch will be posted daily for 14 days.

Now if you made it through this whole post you will also get to know that tomorrow I will have another quick giveaway for everyone. So be sure to stop by tomorrow, I will also have another project to share with you, from our DT member April, using this month's kit. :-)

Alright well that's it, get your craft hats on and start gathering your pictures.

Happy Crafting!!
