Day 5 of our week of thanks and TWO PROJECTS (giveaway)

Good morning!
So how that your turkey day?

Mine was fabulous.  It was wonderful to spend the day with my family.  Back to work today though, ugh!!

So today is day 5 of our week of thanks and today I am thankful for a job.  Other than my part time job I worked for about a year when I moved to Arizona, I haven't worked a full time "real" job in over 5 years.  When we moved to Arizona, we both didn't have jobs.  I was confident we would find jobs quickly but still a bit scary not to have jobs.

I got my job a week after we arrived.  It certainly isn't a long term job, at least financially but I do see myself moving up in the company.  We are also trying to get Tony a job there too.  Not at my location but one of the many in our market/surrounding area.
I am thankful I have a job to go to everyday.

What are you thankful for today?

Can you believe the month is almost over?  So the 25th is on Sunday and that would be our kit reveal day however it will be delayed this month.  With the holidays and shipping schedules we are running a bit late.  Be on the look out for the new kit on the 27th or so.  Sorry for the delay.

TGIF!!!  Today we have two projects to share.  First up is an awesome card created by Rose.

Rose

Second one  is an awesome LO created by Debbie.

Debbie

Fabulous projects, love them both!!

Today is the last day to enter our sketch challenge.  Upload your project by 11:59pm EST for your chance to win your choice of December kit.  :-)

Have a fabulous day!!

Happy Day after Thanksgiving! LOVE both these projects!!! The card is fabulous - and the layout is stunning! My thankful today is similar to yours - I'm thankful that my husband has the kind of job that allows me to stay home with our kids and be able to homeschool them! I so treasure that gift and ability thanks to him!

I am so thankful for today that I can take it easy and not feel guilty (although the house looks like a disaster). I especially like the card with the burlap flower.

Beautiful projects! Today I am thankful for such a wonderful hobby and a hubby that lets me indulge.
I love that I can be creative, and still feel like I'm spending time with the family, looking at the pictures. the best is that my 11yo daughter and her friend are scrappers now! So I have scrapping buddies! :)

The hubs and I were in the same job boat too. Then he got laid off and found a temp 1 year job. It's scary not having the finances nailed down. I think it's one big way we measure security.

Yesterday I got the entire day to myself. Ahhh, and I was grateful every. single. minute! I can't remember the last time I just had time to sit and craft without questions, interruptions, etc. It was fantastic :)

This week at work was pretty rough! I found out on Monday that my job was one of the many affected by serious budget cuts. I am lucky enough to have been given a year's notice though to try and find myself another position in another department and keep my seniority and permanent status. I am thankful for all the kind people i work with and who are such huge parts of my life every week day. They have been there for me this week and have shown much support!
